Associate Professor of Practice, Jessica Backman-Levy, has been selected for WomenLift Health’s sixth North America Cohort of the Leadership Journey, a program designed to empower women as they advance into senior leadership roles in global health.
Since its founding in 2019, WomenLift Health has worked to amplify the power and influence of talented women, driving systemic change toward gender equity in leadership. With established hubs in North America, South Asia, East Africa, and Southern Africa – and plans for further expansion – the organization envisions a future where diverse leaders collectively enhance global health outcomes.
The Leadership Journey equips mid-career women with essential tools, mentorship, and coaching to strengthen their leadership impact. Additionally, WomenLift Health collaborates with health institutions to prioritize gender equity and foster global dialogue on the importance of women’s leadership in health. The organization’s mission is to help women be part of leadership teams in order to improve health outcomes worldwide.
