On October 15, 2024 a delegation from Kazakhstan visited WashU to present on their national Child Development Account (CDA) policy (informed by research from the Center for Social Development, and a PhD dissertation by Research Assistant Professor Aytakin Huseynli) and sign a Memorandum of Understanding to build further momentum for collaboration. Brown School faculty were subsequently invited to participate in the COP29 climate meetings in Baku, Azerbaijan.
